Dorje Drolo Metal Print 16"x24"
An absolutely beautiful metal print of Dorje Drolo. This masterful depiction portrays the wrathful form of Guru Rinpoche, surrounded by his retinue of treasure guardians and dakinis. Guru Dorje Drolod, which translates as "Wild Wrathful Vajra," is one of the eight manifestations of Guru Rinpoche. In this terrifying wrathful form of crazy wisdom he rides upon a pregnant tigress, and wields a vajra in his right hand and a phurba in his left. Dorje Drolo is the most secret form of the guru in the Tsokye Thuk Thik treasure cycle of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche. He represents the most powerful form of absolute compassion and the wisdom of emptiness which burns away all delusions instantly. This particular image is a print from a photo taken of a thangka commissioned by Lama Sonam Rinpoche.
