Beautiful gold gilded statue of Vajrapani measuring 3.65 inches tall.
Vajrapani is the guardian bodhisattva of the Vajrayana. His name means "the vajra holder," for he holds all the hidden teachings of the secret mantra school. He carries a snake lasso to bind the demon of self-cherishing the second it arises. Vajrapani stands in a swirling inferno of wisdom fire which incinerates the causes of all obscuration and disease.
These statues have been gilded through a process of electric gold plating, which deposits a thin layer of gold upon the exterior with an electro-chemical process. The end result is absolutely stunning.
